Good stuff to use on skin after washing face?

Question

I am looking for something to use on my face after shaving and even just after washing my face, as i find it keeps my skin feeling better, but i cant use stuff like lubriderm as it seems to make my face very oily which is gross... i have been using Aloe gel for the last year and it works, but someone told me that was uncommon, and sometimes the aloe gives a burning sensation and can leave the skin a red tone from irritation. Is there any kind of gel or lotion for the face specifically made to prevent dry facial skin? i just need the skin to be moist after using my facewash, which i use obviouosly to prevent pimples... sorry for such a vague question, but im a dude so i dont know much about skin and health products

Try L'Oreal for Men.

You might try oil of olay (yeah, it's chick stuff -- but hey, if you buy it, people will think you've got a girlfriend or wife back at home!) which I've found is very good and non-greasy.
You also might try pure aloe gel -- it's very rare for pure aloe to irritate the skin, I would hazard a guess you are using that green mixture they sell in the sunburn isle at most drug stores. If you have a Whole Foods or something like that nearby, you might try to buy some straight aloe gel to use.

After shaving or washing, and anytime in between, use witchhazel. It is inexpensive and very good for your skin. You may not need a moisturizer, but if so, a drop of olive oil rubbed in your wet hands should work well, and not cause any allergies or breakouts. If you want to spend more money, Crabtree&Evelyn has a wonderful line of skin care products for men and women.

Believe it or not Vaseline. I know it sounds gross but Tyra Banks(supermodel) swore by it as a moisturizer I tried it .
You wake up with wonderful skin even if it is oily. My husband tried it for the after shaving thing like you say and it works great.

Neutrogena makes excellent products for sensitive skin and won't leave an oily residue.

Or...try Clean and Clear brand. Also, you can use Witch Hazel (an inexpensive astringent) to wipe off any excess oil on your face.

From experience with my son, I can tell you he has tried several products, and prefers using Nivea for men lotion. He has history of acne and the Nivea has been of great benefit to him.

You may want to purchase a small sample sized bottle to see if this helps.

okay.... never tried the semen but i know you can use black soap that's the name it is very good to use or your skin your face (especially) try it
