No fever, acting fine, his thumbs and around his thumbs are red and swollen and same goes for his big toes. didn't eat anything different so weird anyone heard of anything like this?

no, not in someone that age,, but its the symtoms of a heart problem, especially congestive heart failure, which doesnt mean the heart is failing, just that its failing to circulate and rid the body of waste correctly, where the heart is not pumping right,,,, and also of too much sodium in the diet, i would have him checked out immediately,,,

You should take your child to the er room as when your fingers and toes start getting big water is retaining.. My dad had that when his hands and fingers got big. They told me my dad had a heart problem. I would get it checked out right away.

I would take your child to the doctor and have him looked at.

You can never be too careful and if there are any other changes -it will be helpful to the doctor to see the swelling as well and evaluate the changes.
