I have a small bump on my face about 1 inch under my eye, it's clear and waxy like whenI feel it. Is it a wart?? The doctors always look at it when I visit them but they never say anything. They just look curiously and I never thought to ask.

my mother has just been treated for a 10p size raised blotch on her face with liquid nitrogen. The hospital says they use it for sun damage. How does it work exactly and how far deep does it go, would it damage healthy tissue?

My daughter is 19 and about a year back we found a bald patch on her head. The doc treated it as alopecia aerata. Other patches developed but they all grew back. But now since she went away to uni 3 mths back, she has started losing hair on her eyebrows, lashes, arms & legs and her hair on her head is thinning rapidly too. She has 1 new patch on her head but that seems to be growing back. Even her hairline on her forehead has receded. She's only 19. Please help.

It was a cold night last night. MY lips got really dry and they started to crack. I hate using chapstick and i dont understand how it works. But is there any other way of dealing with dry lips?

It started as a smaller spot and then it spread throughout the entire cheek.

I keep accidently cutting my zits when i shave and constantly have to apply neosporin to it afterwards.

any ideas on how to keep from breaking out and get rid of the left over red spots?

I also got a shaving scar on the right side of my face.

my dad ordered me the proactive kit for my acne. Its not an extreme case of acne but its enough to make you feel unconfident. I heard the proactive kit will 'make wonders' for you and your skin but then again i heard that if you run out and stop using it even if your skin is already cleared up, it will come back way worse...is this true? Because if this is the case i wouldnt even try it...If you or anyone you know had this proactive solution kit then any advice is more than welcome.

PS. is it true that mary-kate and ashely olsen use this?

O.k. so for some reason or another my elbows seemed to turn a dark color and are rougher then the rest of my smooth skin. Are there any natural rememdies I can use to get rid of this? I've tried lemon juice, lot's of lotion and even a pumice stone which made it worse! Please help! It's embarassing!

I have a small button sized pimple like bump in my butt. How can you tell if it's a boil or an abscess by looking at it? One day I woke up with this pain in my butt and when I went to see what it was there was this pimple like bump with a dark spot at the middle. Next morning I woke up to realize that I'm having trouble sitting because of the pain(it hurts coz when I sit at it). I have classes up to evening and it's really uncomfortable to sit in long periods especially while travelling. Now it is kinda shiny and red and has white stuff inside but there's no white spot.

When I got home I placed a hot compress on it with salt for about 6-10 mins. The white puss came out but not all. After I placed a bandage over it.

Is it a boil or an abscess and what's the difference? thanks
