It doesn't turn orange, but kind of a sickly yellowish tinge.

I used to run a juice bar, and was drinking about 32 oz. of carrot juice a day. It took a couple of weeks before I saw a change (and got wise to the damage I was doing to my body).

I'd imagine it'd have to be all you ate for a few months. Similarly as it does with Flamingo's, who are truly white, but turn pink from their constant comsumption of the larval and pupal forms of flies and brine shrimp that they eat on a regular basis. Lesser flamingos eat an estimated 60 g (2.1 oz.) dry weight to fulfill their daily food requirements. But have turned pink as a consequence, so naturally to follow this pattern of behavior, is to be eating a lot more carrot than usual.

Carrot juice will not turn your skin orange. The color of carrot juice is due to its content of b-carotene.

If you would consume too high of a level of carrot juice, most likely you'd ruin your liver and turn your skin yellowish.

I don't know, but Bugs Bunny manages to stay gray and white after all the years we've been looking at him! You can bet he's tossed down quite a bit of carrot juice!

You may thing it's funny but I have a picture of my son when he was small, his skin was orange. An aunt, seeing him in the store remarked "Oh! you forgot to wipe his veggies off his chin" it was the hint of orange on his highlights.

You would have to drink like six to eight glasses of it a day for a couple of months. I would not try and attempt that though!
