I went tanning, and got a little burnt. Now my face is peeling off. I know it's not healthy... Lotion is not doing the trick no matter how much I apply it. What can I do?

Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and use a face pack of ripe bananas and honey. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for dry skin at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/dryskin.html

Much of the prescription and over the counter stuff and home treatments simply do not work, but try this very simple and natural, small cost way that REALLY WORKS and you will find out that you will not need any other treatment.
You massage the face using an organic oil(tea tree oil is the best) using quite a strong, vigorous motion(once a day or more). Skin is naturally always shedding and renewing, the massaging friction hastens a healthy new skin to emerge. Stick with it and you will quickly see an improvement and in a few days you will have a completely healthy skin. Many skin conditions are caused or made worse by use of unsuitable skin cleaners and countless other products and treatments the skin has been subjected to so please only use mild, preferably organic products in future.

the top layer of skin that is peeling may have been too sensitive for tge rays from the bed, even if it didnt feel painful at the time. basically, now that skin is dead and it HAS to peel off. to make it heal more quickly, use pure aloe gel and apply frequently because it absorbs into the skin quickly. just let it run its course, and next time stay in the bed for a few minutes less.

Drink plenty of water and I suggest to try using aveeno products, they always seem to help with the driest skin or anything with cocoa or shea butter in it. Alot of times though the peeling usually wears off if about a week or two. I know bc my bf is always tanning and she goes through it.
