i've heard about a person who has skin like that of a snake (i.e. scales). I have not seen picture of that person or read of him/her in detail. Do you know if such person exists? I heard that the person can strip their skin layer every few months or so (like a snake) and the skin layer just rebuilds itself with out any pain.

I have little rashes developing on my scalp, the rashes create an itching sensation , my GP gave me prescriptions for a follicle infection, but they only cleared away temporarily.
I did blood tests to find out if it was some other blood related infection but it was not.
I dont know what to do next.
Please help.

I am six weeks pregnant with number 3 and I have psoriasis on my head and eggsama( sorry not sure how to spell it) on my body. Since I have been pregnant, it has gotten so much worst. When I get out of the tube, I feel like I have a billion needles poking me everywhere. It hurts and is getting worst. Does anybody know of anything that will help that pregnant women can use. I use the Dermarest psoriasis shampoo and Its not working any more, and head and sholders doest work anymore either. Thanks

I don't know why, but I am now having a problem with my wedding band. I am getting these clear blisters, that itch like mad, on my finger all around and underneath my ring. I have not had this problem before and have worn this ring for the last 20 years. I have cleaned it, with jewlry cleaner in a sonic cleaning machine...no luck. I have removed it, and waited until the blisters have completely cleared up and put the ring back on...and my finger blistered right back up again. I am seriously thinking I might have developed an alergy to gold for some odd reason. Though I have a yellow and white gold mixed ring on my opposite hand and am not having a problem with it.

I would really like to see if I can find a way to still wear this ring.....it is my wedding band.

Each year during summer my son gets the same problem. He gets redness areas on his body. It itches and he becomes very uncomfortable. This has been the case since four to five years. It occurs mainly in the period October till January or February. Then problem disappears. Age is 12 years. Ointments have been applied without much results. Cortizone based pills were prescribed and the results is that he is now overweight. Can someone please help?

My wife has developed a skin rash which becomes very itchy during the night. It's like a dry red blotchy rash which is on her back, front, bottom of neck, legs, arms, hands. Around the edge of her breasts it looks like she has had a sun tan and its a little flaky. The Doctor has prescribed cream which has helped certain areas heal like the hands when both palms got so bad they became covered in blisters. That has now gone away but the itchiness continues daily like everywhere else on the body. The Doctor has said he does not think it's eczema and has tryed to book an appointment with the NHS to see a Dermatologist, however the waiting list is 3mth,s. The itchiness is driving her crazy. She has even tryed cutting out some foods like fish, but does not seem to of worked. Does anyone have any suggestions
