Hmm...that's a tricky one. It just takes a lot of self control. Firstly, prevent the chapped lips! I'm addicted to lip balm. Carry a tube around wherever you go.

get a toothbrush somewhere cheap, and some vaseline. After you get out of the shower, "brush" your lips with the vaseline. This gets rid of the shreds you bite on. Then put on chapstick so they have something to keep thier moisture. Do this as needed while the "shredded" part heals - then put chapstick on before bed if needed to prevent the problem in the future.

rub the chapped skin off with a towel dipped in hot water and put on some lip balm. Not lip gloss, vaseline, balm.

I have this habit as well, and it helps to put lots of vasaline on it so that not only are you treating your chapped lips, you'll be less inclined to bit on them because vasaline does not taste very good.

i was like that before.at the first place, no one can stop you till you stop urself. eventhough everyone's going to tell you their advice, but you can't stop doing ur habbit we can't stop you. try using lip balms. But if you keep biting ur lips might as well dont buy one!! cuz ull just waste ur money. as much as possible avoid it. if u can.

put vaseline on them..it tastes gross and leaves a film on your teeth....yuck!
also you can use moisturizing chap stick...it quickly absorbs..so your lips are cracked and wrinkly..so you will be less likely to bite them...
