Medical Care:

* Topical antibiotics (metronidazole cream) and antifungals (clotrimazole cream) or low-potency steroid creams for contact dermatitides often lead to clearing of the lesion.

* Proper hygiene with frequent washing and drying of the prepuce is an essential preventive measure.

Surgical Care: Circumcision may be advocated in recurrent and recalcitrant cases.

Well, since there are many different causes of rashes down there, you gotta make sure you know what it is. Getting tested for STIs, fungal and bacterial infections is a good plan. But if it is just friction, using more lube during sexual activities and applying a moisturizer after your shower (Man1 Man Oil is a good penile lotion) can protect the skin.

a friction rash would be red or pink. This is something else. See a doctor.

If you have peeling skin it could be from jock itch. It's a fungus that grown in the flaps of skin between the thighs and pelvis, under the foreskin or under the scrotum. It should go away with washing really well for a couple of weeks but if it's really bad you might want to get an anti-fungal or see a doctor.

Stop jacking off so much. haha

I've had that happen a couple times. Just stop jacking off until they go away. Try putting a triple antibiotic on the sores too.

If they don't go away, you probably have an STD. Get it checked out!

It sounds as though you might have Thrush. You need to go to the pharmacy and get some antifungal cream. Have your last partner treated too, as this can, obviously, be spread from partner to partner. Its more painfull for a woman to have Thrush.

It probably is from friction. Try putting some hand lotion on your hands first.
