i am just too shy to ask her, and I don't know where to take her for a date. I don't want to go to a movie because there is no talking there.

well, skin conditions is the place to ask that question....
you do have to ask her if you want to ask her out... you have to get up the guts & say "would you like to go with me to dinner on friday?" it is that simple. take her to dinner at a descent restauraunt... then go roller skating or ice skating...

grow a pair, walk up to her and ask her out. Do dinner and mini golf, or something. I dont like movies either, but there are plenty of other things that you can do so that you two can talk and get to know eachother better. mini golf, take a walk right after dinner, go fishing, so many things to do. being creative is always good too, girls always do the dinner and movie thing with guys, doing something different isnt a bad thing at all. and about asking her out, the worst she can say is "no", just suck it up, move on, and start looking at other prospects..

Just ask her. I always hated it when guys used lines on me and stuff. How about, "I'd like to take you out this Saturday." If she says yes then ask her where she'd like to go. What's the worst thing that could happen? She says no? Trust me, that is not fatal.
