Surprisingly, I am getting that irritation during evenings and nights only. Now we are staying in London and it is highly impossible to get medicines without Doctor's prescription and for Doctor's appointment, we have to wait for very long. Can you please suggest me with any remedy that I can do it in home please?

No idea why. Usually lasts for almost a week and then goes away. I get once almost every month. Can you tell me why and is there a need for me to be worried about this or is it pretty common. Thanks a lot.

For the time being, I have been living with my parents while I finish school. In the last year or so my brother has moved back home, thrill =( sigh . Anyhow he is a smoker, he smokes camels, he smokes outside. When he comes in the house he has that #%^#*# smell on his clothes. On top of that he smokes in the garage sometimes. So when you walk through the garage you are forced to inhale that STINCH!!!. Lately when I wake up in the morning my throat and my sinuses are all out of whack and my nose runs like crazy. I have mentioned this to my mom but she just says oh but he smokes outside and there is no way it could be affecting you. I feel she is wrong. I am already in the process of looking for an apartment. But in the meantime can his smoking affect my sinuses even though he smokes outside?

I hove both Albuterol and Alupent in my medicine cabinet. My doctor didn't give me clear directions about which to take. The pharmacist said that both are interchangeable. Is this true? What is the difference?

i live in michigan and its going to be hot & humid this summer. I am working outside and when its hummid, it feels like i can't breath. My doctor said i probably feel like someone with asthma, but he said i don't have asthma. He gave me a inhalor, told me to drink lots of water, stay in shade as much as possible. I did this last summer, i wore light colored shorts and a shirt. It helped some, but i still couldn't breath that good. Sometimes i feel like i am going to pass out from not breathing good. My job is to work outside, and i like my job(delivery of newspapers to residental homes as a second job) and i dont want to give it up this summer. I will if i can't breath good again. Any suggestions on how to stay cooler or to control this breathing problem?

I mean it would sound kind of pointless, don't you think? the medication would have to go to the stomach, get digested, into the blood stream and then go to the lungs, and by then you probably don't have the full dosage (I actually don't know). Where as with puffers the medication goes straight to the lungs.

My parents smoked when I was younger. They smoked in the house, in the car, in the car with the windows rolled up... They quit smoking when I was 16 (11 years ago). I lived with them until I was 21. Now I'm 27 and reciently I have had radom moments when it feels wierd/hard when I breath. I also just bought some Berts Bees chap stick and I'm wondering if perhaps my breathing troubble happens when I use the chap stick...or maybe my parent's smoking has caught up to me, or maybe something in the air that I'm allergic too because it's spring now? don't know what to do.

I usually go to bed at 9:30 and it feels like an hour (or more) for me to really start sleeping... i just don't fell comfertable with my breathing! I don't cough or weez. I just take deep breathes and try to calm myself down. I also have exzema so that increases my chances of having asthma..... but do i 100% have it?

I use a Warrick Albuterol inhaler. I have used one for about a year, and I have a back up one somewhere in my medicine cupboard. I was looking online because I became curious about the Warrick Pharm. company and where my Albuterol was coming from, But I couldnt find anything about them (past a recall in 1999-2000 for distributing duds). Does anyone know why they dont have any direct online rescources or if I should be concerned?
