I have hed a lot of sunus pressure and headaches over the past week. The last too days I have had a headache and a sore throat as well. Could this be a sinus infection? If so what should i do? If not what else could be causeing it?

I did forget to mention the pain to my upper jaw and the roof of my mouth and the fever. I have had a fever of 99-101 since Monday night.

sounds like a sinus infection...or the start of one anyway...sinus infection will hurt your cheeks, jaw, ears, eyes, forhead, teeth, neck, cause a cough and post nsal drip..the sore throat is from the post nasal drip probably...start with some saline nose spray, and warm compresses on your face, and of course, steam and hot showers help tons..and then get to a doc, for some antibiotics..I just let mine go to long, and it's a month now, and I still have congestion, and post nasal drip and a cough from it, just had to call my doc. for a second perscription of antibiotics...good luck

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck.
Headaches can be caused by minor problems
like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons
like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can
have harmful side effects, so it is better to
modify your lifestyle. More information available at

If you nose hurts and the surrounding area like your forehead and cheeks hurt too, then you should probably go get the doctor to give you some antibiotics. If the mucous coming out of your nose when you blow it is yellow, that also indicates sinus infection.
