If my dog is sick with pneumonia, can i get sick?

Yes.

If it's a bacteria pneumonia, it's a sure thing you can get it.

If it's a viral source, maybe, maybe not. It would depend on whether the virus in question can attack human cells... or if it's specific to dogs.

In either case, be diligent with the hand washing. Try not to rub your eyes or your nose (anywhere where you can get exposure).
