I've looked everywhere, even consulted with a nurse, and no one has ever heard of it before. Other than a killer name for a heavy metal band, I can't figure out what it is. I think it had something to do with mood swings/depression.

Hello!

I'm only 16 and I started to feel that my hunched back is a serious problem, my mother used to remind me to stand correctly but I wasn't doing nothing but neglecting and now I'm regretting what I did.

The situation is that when I stand relaxed I notice that my shoulders go down and forward thus my neck also goes the same and when I stand next to a mirror I see a little lump under my shoulders and neck, in the back of my chest if you want it to be accurate.

This lump appears to be bigger while sitting on a chair without a backrest, my spine shows a C shape while sitting on a chair without a backrest.

I don't feel any pain but when I try to stand with my shoulders back and flexed like the perfect posture I feel some little pain, I asked a doctor he advised me to hang on a hanging metal stick (the ones that are embraced on the doors)

So is it possible to fix my back? and How?

ill get straight to the point. about 3 weeks ago i started to have tingling sensations in the soles of my feet. these have moved up to my upper thighs over the course of a couple of days. also experiencing from lower back cramps and i wake up 5 times a night with a numb right arm.

i have done several blood tests for infection. all negative. ill be visiting a neuro next week.. what diagnosis/testing should i expect? i know i don't have clear cut symptoms but you might have an idea and im quite alarmed by the sudden onset.

i am a 23 year old male whose relatively healthy and at a good weight. (i do have extremely bad posture though, a crappy matrass and i always walk on slippers - could it be a herniated disk causing all this?)

I find myself often in the situation that at night - while sleeping - that i will wake up to fin dthat all of the blood in one of my arms has gone.
A simlar siuation to if i had toreque'd it or lay on it to stop the blood. But the arm is not tapped in any such way and is often the arm on the top (if lying on my side). This can happen up to 3 times in a night and is not always the same arm.

Can someone give any suggestions, it's starting to worry me, but i don't have any other symptoms that i'm aware of.
i'm a relatively fit female in early 20s, not overweight with no known medical conditions...

regards r

My nose and sinuses are clear and there is no nose discharge. My chest is also clear and I have no cough condition either. At night towards morning I feel a dry and sore throat which goes away as the day advances.

Any time I can expectorate small quantities of sticky and slightly yellow phlegm from the base of the throat and wind pipe.

Occasionally I get muscle pains as if I am due for a viral infection. I have no fever.

So far my GP prescribed and I have taken anti biotic Doxycycline and Roxithromycin, Prednisone, Beclomethason and last Omerprazole without any reduction of the symptoms.

I wonder if this can be due to a cancer condition in my throat.

...I mean serious in the sense that it would be advisable to go to the er or such.

I've been nauseous and vomiting for about a week now. I'm sure that I'm behind on fluids, but I don't know whether I should be worried or not. I've been feeling increasingly lethargic and weak and I keep feeling like I'm going to pass out. However, I haven't as of yet. I know this is TMI, but I'm urinating no more than 4 times a day and it's pretty dark.

I know that I need to drink more fluids, but I'm wondering if this is still at the point that I would be able to just do this at home. I've been trying to drink gatorade but it doesn't seem to be making much of a difference as I'm so nauseated that it's hard for me to have anything in my stomach.

I've been taking it for a few years now and it just seems like I'm tired all the time. When I wake up I'm tired, when I get home I take a nap and I'm still tired, I go to bed tired.. I just never have any energy. I was wondering if anyone else has been on Zoloft and experienced similar things? I suffer from depression so I know my sleeping probably has something to do with that too, but I really feel exhausted like I need to sleep, not just because I want to. Also, I've gained a lot of weight while taking Zoloft, can anyone relate? Thanks!!!

I decided to have a complete physical done about a year ago and found myself diagnosed with Hep 'C'. I haven't had a complete physical done before this for about a decade. Now I have CT Scan appt at a regional hospital coming up, and I have no idea what I'm in for. Is this where they make me drink chalk or inject a dye intravenously? Is it like an abdominal x-ray, or do they make me lie very still while they slide me into some sort of chamber? What are the radiation risks? To be honest....I'm scared !

I know that fainting is caused from many things, but especially from the drop in blood pressure and heart rate from the vagus nerve causing a lower supply of oxygen to the brain. fainting is a way to get your heart on the same level with your brain, basically to get you to lye down,
but does this mean that if the oxygen supply was brought up enough fast enough fainting could be prevented? what should i do to prevent it, please help. (besides medications)
