...I mean serious in the sense that it would be advisable to go to the er or such.

I've been nauseous and vomiting for about a week now. I'm sure that I'm behind on fluids, but I don't know whether I should be worried or not. I've been feeling increasingly lethargic and weak and I keep feeling like I'm going to pass out. However, I haven't as of yet. I know this is TMI, but I'm urinating no more than 4 times a day and it's pretty dark.

I know that I need to drink more fluids, but I'm wondering if this is still at the point that I would be able to just do this at home. I've been trying to drink gatorade but it doesn't seem to be making much of a difference as I'm so nauseated that it's hard for me to have anything in my stomach.

it becomes bad when your skin is dry and you are not able to keep foods and water down. i was recently hospitalized for vomiting over a week and not being able to keep any kind of food or water down.

your urine is dark, that is a sign that you are not geting the water you need and your kidneys are in jepordy of shutting down.

you should go to the dr first thing in the morning, or at least call a nurse line right now. for me they had me come in. i had to be put on a IV and liquid diet for the 3 days i was in the hospital.

please see someone about this. i would hate for you to have to go through what i just did.

feel better soon!

Suggest you seek a professional diagnosis.I would say yes, you have reach the point of it being managed at home. I had to be rehydrate at a hospital when I got stuck out in the desert while in Iraq. It is not something you want to screw around with.

seriously if I were you, go directly to a hospital, you don't want to mess with dehydration, your body will start to shut down, it can kill you.. go now.
