Hello!

I'm only 16 and I started to feel that my hunched back is a serious problem, my mother used to remind me to stand correctly but I wasn't doing nothing but neglecting and now I'm regretting what I did.

The situation is that when I stand relaxed I notice that my shoulders go down and forward thus my neck also goes the same and when I stand next to a mirror I see a little lump under my shoulders and neck, in the back of my chest if you want it to be accurate.

This lump appears to be bigger while sitting on a chair without a backrest, my spine shows a C shape while sitting on a chair without a backrest.

I don't feel any pain but when I try to stand with my shoulders back and flexed like the perfect posture I feel some little pain, I asked a doctor he advised me to hang on a hanging metal stick (the ones that are embraced on the doors)

So is it possible to fix my back? and How?

Many people are born with curvature of the spine and it is not a problem for most. If it becomes a problem, causing pain...scoliosis, then you may have to worry about it. Otherwise don't fret. If the Dr. was not alarmed don't you be. It may cause you to feel slouchy bi=ut this is not what caused it, do not blame yourself. If you are still growing the Dr. may be right, You can stretch and mey cause the spine to lengthen and cause you less pain when you sit erect. so you may want to get into a program of doing this for yourself. They sell inverters at K-Mart that you can use without the risk that a door frame migh pose. That would scare me. At any rate the thing costs less thatn a hundred dollars and can cause your spine to lengthen and may prevent pain. That is the thing yu are worried about, pain from the spine being curved and not slightly rounded as normal. So, invest in that and make sure to take a multivitamin and mineral suppliment to keep the bones strong, most men don't get enough calcium and we need other trace minerals to absorb the calcium. That is my opinion. Good luck. Extreme scoliosis can cause many problems and a friend of mine had to have a rod put in her back as a child and had a body cast, so yours is mild and the care you are doing now is preventive for the future. So, you are to be thankful that it is mild and not painful.

You're young enough to coax the bones back to their preferred position. Lie on a hard mattress with no pillow to re-find the feeling of a straight back with good posture, and try to emulate this posture while you're standing. Exercise that pulls the shoulders back into position would be helpful, such as using the playground equipment at the park, hanging, doing pull-ups, etc.
You can get your muscles to straighten the bones.
As to posture, think of your body as hanging from the ceiling by a string attached to the top of your head, and walking that way. You can do it...

the straight up thing is normal until you get into your Late 30s early 40s when it starts to point str8 out from your body. The curve is also natural. Most guys have a slight curve to their penis. There isnt anything you can do about either.
