If your employer is doing nothing to resolve the issue I would contact your local council (environmental health) and report it.

Fleas are a major pest. There are various species of fleas - cat fleas, dog fleas, rat fleas and rabbit fleas.
You can get rid of them by the safest and cheapest methods like boric acid.

The Health and Safety at work Act will protect you and your colleagues totally in this creepy situation. You have every right to leave the premises and refuse to return until it is sorted and professionally cleaned ! Your employer has an obligation to provide a safe working environment.Your local environmental health agency will take this on and support you in absolute necessary action. DO NOT STAND FOR IT, GET OUT OF THERE NOW !!!!

Leanadam was incorrect when she said that fleas cannot live without a host body. Cat fleas can live semi dormant for UP TO 2 YEARS, waiting for a nice warm feed, when one happens along. It could be you. Have you tiny pin prick red dots on your body? You've provided their meal if you have! Yuck - down tools until your boss gets it sorted!
