I have heard of them a million times and I never even knew where they were in your body. Nurses, you think you can help me out on this one? I just want to know exactly in your body where it is. You don't have to be a specific as possiple. You just have to say where they are like I am a eight year old because I am not a nurse. Just say something like "They are in your stomach." And a few details like they are to the left or they are in the middle of your spine or something like that.

Few months ago, I went to the doctor and he diagnosed me with exercise-induced asthma and gave me an inhaler (the blue one) which I take few minutes before doing a physical activity.

But lately, I've found that I get asthma attacks quite often, even when I'm doing little to no physical activities. For example, I take a really slow walk outdoor in the winter for even just 5 minutes, when I go into a house which has an animal, when I just climb stairs. It's getting really irritating. In those cases, I whizzle when I breathe, gets big headaches, have difficult breathing, get a compression on my chest (like someone pressing on my chest) and I get chest burning also. This is getting really annoying. It does not get better at all overtime. What I do in those case, is that I take the inhaler they prescribed me for my exercise-induced asthma. But the thing is I exceed the dose recommended often. I feel like my asthma is getting out of control. Any help ?

My 74 year old dad has been suffering from it since he was about 70. I don't think my grandparents had it as far as I know. Could it be because he always drank a lot? I hope to enjoy my old age until I keel over. My grandparent's generation of our family mostly lived to 86 or older.

Do most people have it, or not have it? I know I'm the minority, I just don't know which one it is. What causes it, and are there any problems associated with it?
Thanks!!

Well right after I like sprained my right thumb, I've been having problems with the knuckles on my other fingers as well. Like for example sometimes the knuckle on my (right hand) index finger gets red and swells up with a little pain. But I didn't injure it at all.. The redness, swelling, and pain usually goes away within 20 minutes. This also sometimes occurs on my other knuckles as well. Again there wasn't any real injury and this doesn't last very long. I've tested the finger by pressing the bones of that finger and there is no pain so I know I haven't broken it. I also moved the finger back and brought it forward without pain as well so it isn't sprained.
