Sorry, asking this again, someone must know something about this...I saw other questions on this from several months back. Sorry that those people did not get the proper answers and I'm surprised how many people think serious things are "nothing" in here.

Any medical staff or people who have had this condition? My young nephew two may have this...chances are it is this but I'm more concerned by what might cause it as he has had it more than once but with no fever so I doubt it's anything like bacteria or menengitis that causes it.

For those of you scratching your head this is when you see little dots of blood all over your skin...looks like a rash but they are really broken blood vessels from tiny capillaries. It's caused by low platelets but what could cause that in child so young with no other symptoms? I'm afraid it could be something serious like leukemia but he isn't sick otherwise. I don't want to worry my sister though.

This may be odd. But when I was carrying my thick book to the washroom. I unzipped my zipper to urinate. When I did urinate, I accidentally dropped my book which then touched the toilet bowl (middle part especially ex. ( ) ) and touched the ground. Mind you, I was half a sleep, I couldn't even think about what I was doing. So what I did was, I picked my book up and rinsed my fingers with water. About 1 - 5 seconds. But forgot to use the soap.

I then ate some baked potato chips which was orange (all dressed chips to be exact). They were huge. I ate them with the same fingers from when I picked up the book from the ground area of the toilet.

Now I am very worried if I did or did not catch it?

When does AIDS die in an environment?

FYI: there were some drops of urine, but not noticeable when I did look at the pages where it touched the book. Actually, there was not any urine on the book.

My doctor diagnosed me with IBS with constipation and prescribed Zelnorm. Since taking the drug, I do go to the bathroom, but I still am having problems with discomfort. I especially start to feel uncomfortable when I leave my house. I would like to know what in the world can I do to make my body be the way it was before IBS so that I can do the things I used to do without any discomfort.

I have had peripheral vision loss over the past year, starting first with my right periphery. At the same time that it was noted that I lost some of my right peripheral, i lost some of my left vision (not peripheral, it's a blind spot near my nose). That basically hasn't changed over the past year and has been followed. I've been to a lot of doctors and the consensus seems to be that it is a defect that I was born with since it is unchanging. Recently, I am noticing that I am bumping into things a lot more on my right side, and I am walking into people much more than I usually do. I think I may be losing more vision on my right side. I also noticed that I lost some left peripheral and I am bumping and banging into things on the left side, too. Does anyone have any clue??

I asked this question a couple of weeks ago. In the answer voted #1, the person said they hoped I wasn't serious. The reason I asked the question was because I'm dead serious! A family member of mine, whom I will not define, has been stealing from me, my mother, my sister, his own kids and wife, and now my kids, even going so far as to blame my daughter for a recent theft, and blaming it all on Parkinsons. This has been his excuse for more than 20 years of lying, stealing, and gambling. I hate the asshole! He is breaking our family apart!

It started out with swelling of the knee. Then bruising, then bruising spread from knee to foot. None of his doctor's can explain what is causing this. Any help would be great.

Just a few months ago, I 've noticed that I've gotten indentions on my fingernails and toenails. I've read it could be from a number of things, hypotyroid, iron deficiancy, etc. Does anyone have any ideas? preferably someone with a medical background or with the same problem

My vagina is red, speckled and swollen. It's very itchy and uncomfortable too. The rash continues up towards my anus where there are many red sore bumps. It has been like this for about 5 days and I don't know what it is and if I should tell someone. It seems to have gotten better but I'm worried still. It's all sore and it hurts to touch. It has been itchy for a long time but not sore. If I itch it could it become infected from my fingers? Could it be a reaction from a scented pad? PLease help. ThANKS.

I have a problem. Every summer i get a case of anorexia. Im not sure why it onyl happend in the summer but im a gymnast and in the winter i train and i think i look fine but in the summer i see myself in a bikini and im discusted. I lost 30 pounds the last summer and im scared to death about this one. I cant tell my mom because i know she will make it into a bigger deal than it is. I'm trying so hard to stop but now even that its becomming winter i feel discusting. I wanna go back to it but i dont at the same time. I feel fat and ugly. Please dont tell me to tell my mother i just cant. i dont have a father either soo cant do that either do you have any motavations?

If yes, do you know what it is for? Does it have anything to do with my complaints about my fingertips which seems to itch inside, kinda hurts too or sort of has a tingling sensation? Only my fingertips in my left hand feel like this. I don't think its eczema or other skin diseases cause it feels like its from inside. More like in the nerves... and I clean my nails often. Do you think my typing in the computer keyboard has anything to do with this too? What's the worst case scenario in this? Thanx.

I asked this before, but I don't think I did a good job of explaining this problem.

I'm having some chest discomfort around my left rib cage/breastbone area. I have no idea what it is; I went to the ER last night just to check it out and they just did an EKG and said my heart looked fine and there was nothing wrong with it; plus, I had my blood taken 2 months ago for a standard physical and they said it looked great. However, I'm still in some pain -- when I turn my neck a specific way it hurts and occasionally hurts my back; it's like a pulsing pain in my chest that is not constant. It usually occurs when I'm sitting down; right now I'm just looking at the computer and it's a pulsing pain around the middle/left side of my chest that occasionally goes to my left armpit - sometimes to my right chest. I'm glad it isn't my heart, but I still have no idea what the problem is. Could it be from stress? This has been going on for about 2 weeks now. I don't smoke, or lift weights. Please he

I am on medication after having my thyroid radiated, as it was too high, after treatment about 1 month later i was told it was not functioning, was put on medication and i cannot loose weight, i weight 300 pounds am 59 years old and know i must loose weight, i tried nutri systems with no success please advise what i can do as i am worried that i may develop heart problems or diabetis.

this morning i woke up with a swollen and painful area in my eyelid toward the tea duct. Dunno whats its from but on the inside its really red and irritated and its extremely painful if touched and it kinda hurts when i blink. any ideas about what this is about and what i can do about it? thanks!

For the past week I have been feeling like there is a marble stuck in the back of my throat. Every once in a while I feel a slight earache and a headache. I went to a doctor and she told me she couldn't do anything because she can't see anything wrong when she looked in my mouth. That was 4 days ago and I feel it more now. Nothing is sore, but the pressure of whatever is in there is gets a little painful and irritable on my throat. Does anyone know what this is or what I should do?
