If it's bright red blood, it's usually hemorroids. If it makes the stools dark and 'tarry' looking, you need to get it checked by a doctor.

You could be impacted somewhere up in the intestines and it's breaking little blood vessels when you strain to have a bowl movement. They break because the fecal matter is hard. It's something you should go to the doctor about. You could get an infection of the intestines. They could be raw and inflamed. That's not a good thing.

It means you must call your family doctor immediately and tell the nurse or the doctor what you found.
This can be very serious, or you could have something callled hemroids but only the doctor can tell you...and there are many tests to make sure it's not all through your system.
My prayers are with you for a peaceful resolution to this problem.

Blood in your stool means your "poop". And it can be many things, such as cancer, an obstruction, or a bleeding ulcer(which that was wrong with me), or hemmorriods. But you need to seek medical attention to find out .
