My vagina is red, speckled and swollen. It's very itchy and uncomfortable too. The rash continues up towards my anus where there are many red sore bumps. It has been like this for about 5 days and I don't know what it is and if I should tell someone. It seems to have gotten better but I'm worried still. It's all sore and it hurts to touch. It has been itchy for a long time but not sore. If I itch it could it become infected from my fingers? Could it be a reaction from a scented pad? PLease help. ThANKS.

Hi, it sounds like you got a allergic reaction to maybe a new soap or underwear , also scented pads ,,well if it is just a allergic reaction ,, you got to take lots of showers but don't use any scented soap use a mild soap with no oils or perfume( OK )keep that area very clean and dry you can use some corn starch baby powder and be careful not to scratch because you can catch an infection, if you feel that is not getting better couple days you need to be seen by a doctor OK ,,
good luck

sound like a very BAD yeast infection you Need to go to a Gynecologist and get it checked not a good thing to let go.
Especially in that area. Would make sure you wash hands all the time after touching, won't cause a rash on fingers but if touch some where else, it could spread

go to a gynecologist asap
in the meantime, do not scratch
use either warm or cool compresses (depending on which one actually feels better - soak a wash cloth or soft towel in either warm or cool water and apply to the area) to help calm the skin
take an over the counter pain reliever if that helps
do not have sex with anyone until you figure out what this is
but please go to the doctor as soon as you can

I'm not even gonna take a guess on this one: just get to a doctor-FAST. Many STDs will display initial symptoms like you describe, which will then disappear, but, are causing grave danger internally, i.e. sterilization! Get to a clinic! Seek treatment!!!! And please do not expose a sexual partner to this problem until you figure out what it is. God bless!
