This cough can cause small hemorraghes in my eyes, and has even caused a vein or two to show up very close to my skin's surface right under my eyes. Is there any association with chest coughs and hyperthyroidism? I do smoke on occasion and wonder if one exacerbates the other?

My husband has been having severe pain,redness and swelling in his right foot.It has been diagnoised as gout.It has not responded at all to the usual treatments such as steroid injections,NSAIDs,cocholine or narcotic pain meds.Im begining to wonder if it is indeed gout. What else could it be? He has no visible openings in his skin that would led one to think of an infectious process. Any help would greatly be appreciated as we are at the end of our rope.

About 3 weeks ago started having severe pains in knees, legs and feet. I have fibromyalgia. I had circulation checked and was okay. I take Lasix on a daily base. I have never hurt this bad. Thanks

i have a friend, like 3 years ago he told me he was hiv positive, he had both western blood and eliza tests, then 1 year ago he told me he was not positive, that they were wrong and that he was healthy, so i asked him, how is that posible? and he told me that when he was a child he fell off a tree or something and that he took lots of penicilie and that was why but i just can't help thinking that he has the virus and is lying to me, am i wrong?

I am 35 years old and have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I take Methotrexate and Plaquenil and also a prescription Folic Acid supplement. My hair is falling out in bunches and I'm literally going bald. Is there anything I can do to promote hair regrowth?

My wife was recently diagosed with Fibromyalgia. In a way it was a relief to us to have an anwer to all that was going on, but now we start down the long road. We have already gotten some information from our doctor and from the internet. Other web sites on this will be helpful, but I would also like a first hand perspective. My symptoms are: dull ache/discomfort in lower left side, irregular BMs (some small, some soft, some with lots of mucous), irritable nature, tingle/twinge in back of neck. My neck no longer hurts, and I can "hear" and feel something moving thru my bowels - kind of gurgles. I'm sure my bowels are full, although (today) I don't have the feeling of being constipated (I did earlier this week). I'm wondering if the stool is TOO soft (I'm fiber conscious, and think I could have overdone it recently) and if that's part of the problem. And yes, I've had a stressful week.

I seem to be urinating far too often. I get the urge every 30 mins/hour (sometimes even more). I am due to come on my period soon and I know the pressure is sometimes a reason why. I am also quite an anxious person and I have heard this can have cause frequent urination too. I also get pain sometimes in my lower stomach and feel as though I'm full of urine all the time even when I've just been to the loo. HELP!

I get a pain in my pelvic region randomly thoughout the day, In both sides so I have ruled out something like ovarian cancer. I get this pain sometimes when I go to the loo to urinate too. Its sometimes sharp and often just uncomfortable.

I'm 17 years old and not sexually active although like alot of other girls of my age I have experimented with guys and by myself but have not had intercourse, is this a factor?

Is it something serious? I'm really worried

I know that there is a slight chance of it comming back after the surgery, but do you have any good doctors (preferably in the Cleveland area) where you can get it removed? Also, how much do you think it would cost? Is there a way that you can, like, remove it yourself? And for the last question, after you remove it, would you be able to, like but this tight thing around it so then another keloid won't be created and swell.
