Sounds like a urinary tract infection. You need to go see your General Practioner and they need to get you on antibiotics. They won't go away by themselves.

You really need to see a Doctor! Frequent urination and as often as you are going, is not normal!
It could be any number of things-- diabetes; (even though you are young); a kidney infection; a bladder infection and/or a urinary tract infection!
Going that often and having so much pain needs the attention of the Doctor!
A couple of weeks ago, I was 'going' every 5- to 10 minutes and the 'pain' is awful! It is very sharp and sometimes throbs like a toothache would- I went to the Dr.! I have a 'urinary tract infection'!
I have had "Kidney Disease' since I was '14' years old!
You have already suffered too much-- now it is time for professional help!

It may be a UTI (urinary tract infection) or symptoms of diabetes or something else. Another symptom of diabetes is feeling thirsty all the time which you didn't describe. Either way you need to be checked by a doctor and prescribed medicine because it must be awful going through this. If you have not seen the doctor because you don't have insurance then you can call the local hospital and ask to be referred to a free clinic. They should be able to help you find help.
P.S. Cranberry juice is used to treat UTIs in its early stages. On the onset of UTI symptoms drinking cranberry juice increases the acidity of the urine to kill the bacteria that is in the bladder when the bacteria levels are low.
I hope you feel better soon.

I agree. It definitely sounds like UTI Urinary Tract Infection. But none of us are doctors. Yogurt and cranberry juice have been known to be used as home remedies. But you should always seek a professional opinion. You need an antibiotic. Urinary tract infections, if not treated properly can travel. And you don't want something so treatable to end up being a serious kidney infection. Go see your doctor!

Sounds like a urinary tract infection. If you don't get it treated in time it can spread to your kidneys. You don't have to be sexually active to have them.
Visit your doctor so he can give you some antibiotics. You will also need to drink plenty of water. I highly recommend cranberry juice and/or 1000mg cranberry tablets. The cranberry helps keep the bacteria from sticking to your urinary tract walls.
I had a urinary tract infection once that was not caught in time. It spread to my kidneys. I had to be hospitalized because of the extreme fever (got to 106.9 before it broke) and also because the doctors had trouble figuring out what was wrong.
I take a multitude of vitamins, including 1000 mg cranberry tablet every single day. So far I have not had anymore urinary tract infections since the kidney infection....14 years ago and it is very rare for me to get sick.

It sounds like a UTI to me. (urinary tract infection) You need to see a doctor to help you out. also frequent urination can be diabetes, but that doesn't really sound like your problem. I don't think your sex life, or lack thereof has anything to do with it.
You can also drink cranberry juice to help a UTI, but seeing a doc is your best bet.

I concur.
Also drink plenty of water. Some people say cranberry juice is good. Some people would also suggest yoghurts with acidophilus.
Urinary alkalinisers can help sometimes (ural or citravescent or some such)
But when I had a urinary infection, it wouldn't go away until I took antibiotics.

Having had a similar problem on and of for many years I can suggest that most likely cause of all your problems is a condition called acute candidaises (candida albicans yeast infection.) Please read this as it will change your life if you decide to act on this info and read up on it.
It usually causes thrush and IBS (irritable bowel syndrome)
The causes are mainly due to the destruction of friendly gut flora that are essential for health by supporting our immune system and producing vitamin K which is vital in regulation of correct PH of the blood. If your body is low on gut flora your body will be in a state of over acidity and this will cause many many problems, one of which is an irritated bladder due to urine that is too acidic. Healthy urine should be pH6 to pH 6.9. When I was ill mine was pH 2.5!!!!
THE CAUSES
1. Antibiotics
2. Food preservatives.(Which are designed to kill bacteria and still do after they are eaten.)
3. Chlorinated water
4. ALL PROCESSED FOOD!!!!!!
5. ALL SOFT DRINKS
6. PESTICIDES
7. SMOKING
8. ALCOHOL
THE CURE
1. Go and buy some probiotics from the health food shop.
Take more than is recommended to start and dont stick to one brand. Take continuously.
2. Eat everything fresh. Even meat. Cook it yourself. Its easy to steam off fresh veg and fish for an evening meal. You are very young and should respond well with these simple instructions.
Its hard to realise that prepacked food is a very new thing and all our lives are being disrupted by poor nutrition that is devoid of vitamins minerals and enzymes that help us digest our food.
3. Experiment with food elimination. Most likely problematic food.
a. Cows dairy......try goats
b. wheat.........bake your own from spelt flour [instructions on the packet] its nice and fun
c. tea... coffee
d. potato.....try sweet potato
.....
4.go find a herbalist or Chinese herbalist who can rebalance your kidney liver function.........a chinese herbalist totally changed my life
5. Read Eat Right For Your Blood Type by J D'adamo
6. Read up on health and nutrition and decide what works for you
Good luck

Have yourself tested for diabetes.
But if it is a UTI, yes you can treat it yourself with cranberry extract and lots of water.
