Every now and again the bottoms of my feet will be so hot it's unbarable. And to touch them is quite hot too. Not just warm, but like HOT. This will go on for weeks at a time and be constant. On occasions my hands (palm sides) will also become the same way. I DO NOT HAVE ATHLETE'S FOOT or any type of fungal problem. There is nothing wrong with my skin.

I've been told by random people that it's possible it could be a neurological thing and / or that it's a disorder.

Has anyone ever heard of this?

I had surgery while I was in the military and it did not alleviate my problem. I am in pain pretty much every day. I was on and off painkillers for the past few yrs. Now my new doc at the VA puts me on naprosen and some other anti inflammatory med! It is not working and I am so annoyed they would just switch my meds when the percasets and vikiding were working great on days that I needed them. How else can I get these?

My mom is going to go to surgery tom. and she needs the general anesthesia, where you fall asleep completely. And the doctors, and stuff said it's o.k. at least, they said the surgery is only about 10-20 minutes. and recovery, is in the recovery room for about 1.5 hours. she's worried sick, i think. she's never smoked, and rarely drinks. about 2 times a year... and she doesn't have diabetes, rarely takes medication. she's allergic to aspirin though...which is o.k. she's not obese. pleez help.

I hear of so many young people including celebrities falling to this tragic illness. I'm just wondering how do people get it and is it hereditary or it just develops over the years? What are symptoms to both of these illnesses?

My partner is currently working with solid lead - i was just curious as to if this could make him sick, or would it only affect him by working with it for a prolonged period - if so, any idea how long you would have to work with it for it to affect you?? Hes a plasterer, and hes working at a hospital in the xray room, so they're putting solid lead under the gyprock (or whatever it is)

The person who had TB and he is not coughing can spread the virus through air? I am staying with my wife in the same room. She had TB and the doctor told it's in initial stage and they given treatment for 8 days and discharged from the hospital. But she is not coughing or sneezing. She is like a normal person and she got discharged from hospital 4 days back. If i am staying with the person he or she had TB, with out cough or sneezing it will effect to me? It can infect to me if i inhale her normal breath if she is not coughing or sneezing?

I am 26 years old and was told at the age of 20 that it seemed that I had been having 'mini strokes'. I went to another neurologist who stated that I have multiple lesions on my brain and that is looks like the beginning stages of MS. I have been told by another doctor that it looks like RRMS. I have numbness and tingling feelings on my left side and my vision has gotten pretty bad in the past few years. I have severe migraines and at times am uncontrollably nauseous. Anyone have any ideas? I can no longer see a doctor due to not having insurance or the money to cover the bill... Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

My husband is having problems with his feet and ankles swelling even though he is taking Lasix and potassium. On one foot the bottom is covered in blisters and seems very dry, I do not know if this would have anything to do with the swelling because only one foot is like that but both feet are swelling. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. While he is home he keeps his feet elevated but he is a truck driver so while he is driving his legs are just hanging but when he isnt driving he elevates his feet. I worry that someday I will get a call because he cannot drive anymore so any ideas would help because he doesnt want to go to the doctor nor does he have the time,(so he says). So any help would be appreciated very much. Thank you all. Kim
