One person said a cure may have already been released, but the drug companies are holding on to that cure because they stand to lose a HUGE amount of money. I beleive there is some truth to this. Money does indeed make the world go round. In fact, a lightbulb has been invented that NEVER needs to be changed. But, as you might have guessed, major lightbulb producers would stand to lose a lot of money if a product like that ever made it onto the market. So what do they do to prevent that from happening? They offer the inventor millions or billions of dollars for their idea and buy the patent. It has also been said that a cleaner, cheaper, more efficient type of gas exists for cars, but the gas and oil companies have so much power and money that they were able to prevent it from reaching consumers. And in the case of good old Magic Johnson, he has had AIDS for as long as I can remember ( I'm only 23 ). It was rumored that he bought all his medications in England, for a mere $30,000 a month. Because of all the strict policies provided by the FDA, America is far behind other areas in the world in research. Don't take that the wrong way, however, the policies are meant to protect us, and prevent fewer drugs from being recalled once they've hit the market. Think of Phen Phen and Vioxx. I do believe a cure exists for every disease out there, because life must be balanced. Good could not exist without evil, as disease could not exist without a cure. There are many, MANY, research teams and companies working hard to find both a cure and a vaccine for HIV/AIDS. And not everyone can be bought.

Yes Angie, there is always that possiblity, but with medicine companies making so much money out of the HIV Pandemic, there is also a strong possibility that the cure could have been released a long time ago but was prevented due to their growing profit. Would someone really do something like that you ask? Its all just cold cash. Cure for cancer? They didn't have anything that really helped that before. See what I mean?

Sometimes I am not sure who is asking these questions. There is no cure on record for AIDS/HIV or any other incurable dies ease. Hello.... that is what makes them incurable because to date, there is no cure.
There are some natural or home remedies that people say can cure some diseases like pure Tahitian Noni for AIDS or natural cures say that there are herbs or certain levels or doses of hydrogen peroxide that can kill the herpes virus.
I suggest you start watching more news and reading more.

Yes. Viruses & bacteria mutate very quickly, so even as we develop medications that destroy them - they mutate in a way that prevents the medication from being effective. This is why patients with HIV must be constantly switched from one medication to another (& why Magic johnson is NOT cured).

Wouldn't a better question be "Is it possible that there is a cure?" We already are hearing that there isn't a cure for HIV , so what kind of ? is yours.?
