Have you caught the flu yet?
If you have, how long did it last?
I caught it almost a week ago, I ran fever for three days.
I'm better now, but still really weak and light headed...
I'm so tired and depressed, but have slept so much already that I cant fall asleep very easily anymore.
Tomorrow will be one week....I'm ready to be back to normal!

The governments the world over are laying emphasis on the AIDS control measures specially in the developing countries of Asia. My question is should children below 18 years be allowed to learn everything about sexual intercourse in order to make them aware about the dangers of this deadly disease.

It seems that some viruses attack only certain kinds of cells, such as T cells to replicate themselves. Why couldn't some viruses be engineered to seek out certain types of cancer cells and kill them?

Now that the bird flu outbreak on the Bernard Matthews' Turkey farm in Suffolk has been proved to be the deadly form of the virus what food produce can I eat which is similar to turkey/chicken?

The government has announced that there is only a small risk that humans can catch the virus but apparently it is also true that there is an incubation period in which the birds show no signs of the virus and in which time they could be sold to the public as meat.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thousands of flu vaccinations are discarded every year. Would it make sense for these to be offered to prison inmates? Wouldn't that reduce the medical cost prisons spend on inmates that do get the flu, and reduce some of the suffering for those existing in horrible, overcrowded prison conditions?

Would that also increase demand so that more companies are willing to make the serum thus preventing shortages like those we experienced last year when one of the few labs making the vaccine became contaminated?

Never had one, don't know anything about. I am constantly getting sick with cold/flu like symptoms. Tonsilitus is very common for me. Is that a condition of its own, or a symptom of something else?
Will the flu shot help stop me from getting sick and tonsilitus?
Does it hurt? Where do they give it to you?
If your a Canadian, do you know about what it costs?
