Pseudomonas has a lot of different strains. It certainly isn't friendly bacteria, but 'super bug' is just the media's way of describing bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics, like MRSA (methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aurelius)

Being a superbug depends not on the strain, but whether the bacteria has been exposed to antiboitics so it can evolve and become resistant. So to answer your question pseudomonas can become drug resistant.

It is not a superbug - the media calls something a superbug when it is resistant to several antibiotics. It is a pretty cool pathogen though!
