I don't know what you mean by "the brain fever" for sure but you might be talking about confusion related to meningitis. The body tries to fight off infection in the central nervous system and this obviously will be something that will affect the brain. For the most part, meningitis is bad news. If you weren't talking about that, please elaborate on your description.

Meningitis is due to bacteria. In adults, it is usually meningococcal.It is conveyed by droplet infection. Encephalitis and aseptic meningitis may be viral. The virus may enter the body by breathing, or by insect bite.Diseases like chicken pox, mumps and measles can also be complicated by encephalitis.
