My child was recenlty diagnoised with a virus. Which two Dr.'s said would go away in a couple of days. Well that was a week ago. Now my child is straining to swallow and refuses to say wether it hurts or not. Already been tested for Strep (negative x 2). This virus has a low grade fever, white cottage cheese puss blisters on the back of the throat, redish throat and is making my child really tired. Has anyone else experienced this at all?

In a home we rent, we have had rat problems. Although I do not think we still have them, there is a lot of stuff from them in the attic (dead rodents, droppings, who knows what else). We can not get to most of our attic. For the last couple months my family has been feeling aweful. could stuff in the air be getting to us? We have nasue, headaches and stomach aches.

I hit my leg, it got a pretty bad bruise and then it started filling with fluid. I had to go to the ER and have it lanced and drained and they said the blood work came back as a Strepp infection (not Staph). At the time I did not think to ask the Dr. what that was or why it happeend , has anyone had this happen or know why it would be Strepp.

We broke up several months ago. Now I'm worried that I might have hep c. We had sex without condoms (but never during my periods).
Can anyone tell me where I can get tested for hep c? (I live in NY, brooklyn) And how much is it gonna cost me? (considering the fact that i don't have health insurance). And also I wanna do it anonymously.

For those that have experienced appendicitis, please describe how you felt, how many days etc... Wondering if I should be concerned about my daughter. Sounds strange but I work in the medical field and know the textbook symptoms but not sure if I need to worry about her. She c/o stomach pain, off and on, near belly button, terrible headache, low grade fever off and on,low appetite but is still playing basketball?????? I am taking her Dr on Friday but still concerned about appendicitis which I know can take days for all symptoms to appear

I recently developed what I believe is a mild flu, and I am trying to think where and when I might have caught the flu. I believe it may have been in ski lift queues, on a T bar tow, or it might just have been some packets of mayonaise I took from the cafeteria (likely to have had many hands touching them).

Given the above information do you think it is most likely to be through the air, or through contact with food?
