My sister has a problem with this, too, and she has tried a lot of expensive treatments that didn't work very well. What she has had the most success with is zinc- vitamins and ointment. She takes one 50mg tablet every day, and two tablets a day when she has a break-out. She also puts zinc oxide ointment on the break-outs. She works in a pharmacy as a technician, and the pharmacist told her about this, so she tried it, and has gotten really good results. And both the vitamins and the ointment are under $5.00 each. She has also tried a cream called abreva, which she said worked okay at helping clear up a break-out, but is more expensive (about $15.00). I don't remember the name of the prescription pills that she was taking, but she said that the prescriptions didn't really help, and gave her a horribly upset stomach. I truly hope the zinc remedies help you, too.

I got clinically diagnosed with genital herpes (type 2) about 5 years back, while I was still attending college and had a mindless one-night stand. I understand lots of girls will say this, but I swear I had certainly not done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date men again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone who has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/bbfOH everything got better.

Not only was I able to clear away all remnants of the herpes simplex virus from my system in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a packed restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This program provided me the chance to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the World.

Abreva is a tiny tube of ointment with a giant punch that is worth every penny, and will get rid of fever blisters. Can't say you won't get more, but Abreva sure stops them for me. That's right, the virus lives in nerve tissue and comes out any time you get over-tired or not up to par. Just get enough sleep and don't go on any walk-a-thons.

The best you can do is go to your doc and get an antiviral drug that will help speed up the healing. You can also try using tea tree oil on it. There is really no proven method to help it heal faster although the prescription meds to cut down the duration time.

my husband had one and he read in a home remedy book...I know this is going to sound weird but, just try it...You dip a washcloth in milk and then hold it on the sore. It worked for him and he never got one again
