Alka Seltzer cold tablets that you dissolve in a glass of water has been helping me for years when I had cold. But someone some time ago (may be 6 months ago) sent e-mail about one of the harmful for the health ingredient. I did not save that e-mail. I wonder if it's about Alka Seltzer cold or Alka Selzer upset stomach med.?? Can you help me clear that up please ??

I have a pretty bad scrape on my knee (playing rugby skidded on both knees - removed skin from knee). The area is about 2 - 2.5 inches in diameter. It seems to have started to secrete yellow pus and is painful to touch, the surrounding areas have also become "sore". There is no sign of scabbing and its been 2.5 days.

My Dr. told me I have it. I'm a very hygenic person and live in a very nice house so I was shocked but I guess anyone can get them. I was wondering if it's common to get them on your chest and back? I have ugly bumps all over my chest and back. Some of them almost look like pimples but my Dr. said sometimes they do. Does the prescription cream work? I was just wondering about all this because the research I did said they like crevices like your genitals and between fingers and toes but not on me.
