Why is it recurring?

Is he on antibiotics?
Does he have poor hygeine - does he wash his hands after going to the toilet and before eating?
Does someone who cares for him or prepares his food have poor hygeine?

Yes, Vanc is the standard treatment of choice, but it's not pleasant.

Have him take lactobacillus,which should be available in any health food store. It has good bacteria in it which can help.
