..Weed, Coke, Meth, E, Shrooms, Nitrous, Vicodin, and smoked cigs and drank alot. I gave all that up about six years ago (I do still drink on occasion) and I am worried that it will all catch up to me. About two years ago I experienced my first Panic attack and went to the hospital. I was told I just had too much caffeine.
So my Q is. What can I expect, long term, from my idiotic ways as a teenager.

I already have panic attacks and high blood pressure.

I try to eat healthy athough I dont exercise much at all. I am overweight (6'2" - 265)

Am I worrying too much?

I had blood test, treadmill test, and seen a psychologist. First two test were normal and the psych says I am pretty much a normal person with normal problems I just need to find a way to solve them.

Thank you all for your replies in advance!!

I went to the dr. because I was very fatigued. He used to have me on high bp medicine Toprol because of elevated bp on a few different occasions. I had to stop taking the medication a little over a week ago because bp had dropped down to 90/50's - 117/60 and pulse had slowed down. Today he checked my pulse and said it was weak, but bp and pulse rate were ok. He just told me to drink lots of liquids and let the toprol work it's way out of my system. My question is what causes a weak pulse but a normal pulse rate? I have been of the toprol for over a week, would the medication still be in my system causing this? He wants to come back in a couple of weeks, but i am concerned now! Anybody have any ideas?

I smoked marijuana, and soon my heart was pounding very hard and fast. My blood pressure was 162/147. I almost called 911 and thought I would die. I had smoked many times before, and nothing like this had ever happened. Needless to say, i won't be smoking pot anymore. But can anyone tell me what happened here?

I'll be 18 this June and I am experiencing pains on my chest around my heart. I was working out in my cartio class at school and my friend had pushed me. I had banged up my knees and after 5 minutes or so my chest has been in pain. The pain appears to be getting worse but at the moment it is still barable. I have to keep my body in a certain position to ease some of the pain. If I lay down I have to be on my back and if I try to get up it starts to hurt really bad. Im not exactly sure what it is but I think I could have bruised some muscle tissue around my heart. I would like some opinions before I tell anyone or go to the hospital.

I'm on an ECG for the next 24 hours, and I was wondering what it will show. Does it test for BP, Pulse, or anything else? Thanks.

This a weird question, but the doctor told me I have a heart murmur. Never had any problems with it, but the one thing I will say is that when I get nervous, like when I'm going to sing in public my heart starts beating like I honestly don't think is normal and I can hardly breathe through the song. Is it in anyway related do you think or is that just a normal anxiety problem? Any advice on controlling it. Thinking hypnotist now.

My work mate is 63 years old with no problems in health so far in life. We were taking peoples blood pressure in the office and found that his was 228/88. The machine almost maxed out to read his blood pressure. We have been checking him for about 6 months now, and the lowest we have ever seen his blood pressure was 205/80. Usually it stay around 225-230 on the top. My question is since he has been this way for probably years it this just normal for his body?

Maybe I'm being paranoid again, but I keep spooking myself. I had frequent heart palpitations not too long ago and I asked if I should be concerned. I was told no. And along with those palpitations I'd have minor short chest pains. Is that normal? They didn't hurt dreadfully, but enough for you to feel a twinge of discomfort.

And starting last night, the left side of my chest would throb again, with minor pain a few times then go away. Then the next hour it would do it again. I think I'm just feeling like something's wrong because I'm spooking myself. Should I be concerned? And are occasional chest pains normal?
