You know, the Arterosclerosis(i think)... where your artery/ies has fats that blocks the blood from passing through..How to at least lessen the fats on the artery? or are there ways to remove it?

I just checked it and it said 110 and 60. Is that high, low, I have no idea what those numbers meen.

Though I have a hx of high cholesterol (i.e. in the 200s), after diet, exercise, supplements, and finally a prescribed statin, my cholesterol is down. However, will any accumulated cholesterol plaque in my arteries now eventually be absorbed or otherwise disappear over time...or am I stuck with it for life?

im 20 yrs old i dont smoke nor do drugs, all my of my life ive worked out and I eat healthy and yes im eating perfectly fine.. i ended up fainting and ever since then i feel dizzy constantly why is this happenning?

Two days ago, about 9pm my heart started to hurt really badly for about an hour. I couldn't take a deep breath because I felt a sharp pain. I couldn't lay down and the worse was when I lied on my left side. My pulse was 110 and my heart rate was somewhere around 132. After an hour it went to the normal heart rate. Yesterday before I went to sleep I felt the same pain again but it didn't hurt that much as before. Today it hurts a little bit when I breath. I had similar pains for couple of weeks but never for longer than 1-3 minutes. I'm 16, not overweight, not smoking and I never had heart problems. Do you think I may have some heart problems or it's nothing to worry about??

I used to be 305 lbs and am diabetic, I have completely changed my life and am now 188 lbs. I eat properly and excercise regularly. I have talked to my doctor about this and she is perplexed and sent me to a Cardiologist and he said I was fine. But the high resting heart rate can't be good can it? I have been tested for cancer, arthritis, hyperthyroidism, STD's (I don't take risks but it was done just to be sure) and am found to be healthy. Does anyone have an idea?

my friend recently feeled something stinging in his chest occassionally, preferably the heart area. he is a hypertensive person and taking his maintenance regularly. and his blood pressure is 120/80.

we discovered our friend dead on the couch. he'd probably expired 5 hours already. his left arm with almost clenched fist suspended up to his head, other arm spread outwards. his legs were stiff forming somewhat similar to a bow legged while his feet and toes were curled and clenched together. i want to know if this is possible that he died in this position from heart attack/cardiac arrest. we are wondering why his hands were not on his chest instead were spread out wide. it looked like he froze at that position. we wanna make sure theres not foul play.

i'm 21.....i find myself under a lot stess and pressure...my parents are always trying to correct me (even for something really small)..always judging me...trying to find mistakes...always pushing me into something...i've almost lost my self esteem...i'm always nervous around them?....ever since i was diagnosed(a yr back)...its only got worse...i know i'm extreamely yough to hav been diagnosed with this condition...i'm also over weight....but i want to know if social/domestic problems can cause hypertension...?im now under medication..

so why then i can go to bed and wake with a pain in my chest that can last 5 hours and is really bad. after just goes away on its own have i had a heart attack,this comes out of the blue no i have no stress,just high cholesterol that is being controled by tablets.after the pain my chest aches quite badly for a few days.this has happened a few times now,have lost confidence in my doctor as he was off hand as my tests were negitive for heart problems.but the pains are real enough i don't know what to do.
