I've had kinda high blood pressure for about a year now. It's usually between 135 and 150 on the top part. How long does it take for your blood pressure to do something serious to your body like give you heart failure or something like that? I'm 20 by the way.

After realizing that they made a big mistake by prematurely endorsing polyunsaturated vegetable oils, health authorities quitely stopped recommending their copious consumption. Instead they began promoting a new variant of saturated fat restriction : the low - fat , high carbohydrate diet Again, their FOOLISHNESS has been highlighted by a STARTLING INCREEASE IN DIABETETS AND OBESITY that has closely followed the population 's ready acceptance of the low- fat paradigm.

diastasis of the rectus muscle. the risks of having the decending aorta expose and the insurace not wanting to cover it. Even though is deems a medical neccesity. The Insurance Co says If I can mail them proof of research or medicals issues of a separation of the abdominal wall due to pregnancy then they would cover it. there is not much out there. I have had 3 docs tell me the sam thing that my aorta can be felt... its not protected and if i get hit even acidentaly,,, i could tear the aorta and bleed out and die. It needs to be repaired asap... but it falls under plastic RECONSTRUCTIVE surgery not plastic surgery. help anyone??? I know there are smart doctors/nurses out there insurance specialists... medical professionals... geniuses... somebody...!!!! ughhh

I just experienced these very weird feelings tonight while on here and for the first time 2 days ago. I am a bit concerned they could be early warnings of a stroke/ heart attack. I am over 35 and do smoke and take the pill. I am not over weight, have low cholesterol, BP, etc and my GP says a low dose estrogen pill for me is okay.

Here are the symptoms- I know in women they can be different than men. It starts with intense and sudden pain on the bones of both jaws and then is followed by a tightness in my forehead and then a crushing pain in an oval right above my breasts in the center of my chest. Along with that, I am just awash with a general ill feeling and then after about 10-15 minutes it passes. I will ask my GP Monday about this but do any of you know if these could be warning signs.? Thanks

I've been having cardiac arrhitmias since I am 13 years old. About 250 bpm and sometimes less. Diagnosis was an anomaly in the mitral valve of my heart Currently I am 30 and I am on medication "amiodarone" to control my heart beats. Doctors said it is a condition that might dissapear after 18 but my last arrhitmia was 1 year ago. Is there any way to get rid of this condition or is it for life?
