I've had chest pains 2 times in last year. I went to ER for both of them. The pain was where the heart is and for one of them I could not feel left side of my body. They did bloodwork, x-ray, brain MR etc, nothing is found.

About 2 weeks ago, I got cold. It was very bad. When I recover I felt constant pain on my left side, I guess it's where the heart is. It;s like stabbing pain. When I breathe it hurts. It's like one sport on my left side constantly burning for a week. Pain level increase and sometimes decrease. I feel dizy too sometimes.
I don't know if I should go to ER since they could not do anything about it for the last 2 times.

What could this be?

I'll be sitting around doing nothing for say the length of a movie, and suddenly I get this fluttering fluid feeling in my chest, and I feel my pulse and its beating real rapid. Which feeling that makes me panic a little and then I start to get short of breath and dizzy. What could be going on? I know I should see my doctor, I'm just wondering what it might be first.

The Lipid Hypothesis of coronary heart disease is scientifically baseless yet it is promoted heavily.

Anthony Colpo and Dr. Uffe Ravnskov are good people who try to alert the public to the FARCICAL LIPID HYPOTHESIS .

Now they are saying that the kidneys are not functioning and they did the dialysis for 2-days. The doctor is saying that her heart was in a poor condition, the operation was a success but they are waiting for her heart to "kick in" . She is breathing through a tube in her neck, and they are saying her body is on full life support. We are so confused cause it's been a week and no response/movement from her. When you lift her eyelid her eyes are just staring straight ahead ... not rolled back like someone who is just sleeping... Any answers???

In the 1980's he had hernia repair and the following year his appendix ruptured. The Dr. told him he would start to have back problems, little did he know that he has had them all his life. His x-ray shows that he has had a neck fracture. In 1992 he was referred to a neurosurgeon and had a lamenectomy and lost most of his spinal fluid through the surgical sight the next week. He had to be re-hospitalized 4 days. In less than a year he had to have a discectomy and it abcessed causing temporary paralization. re-hospitalized 3and 1/2 weeks and the surgery had to be redone. Then in 2000 his BP was outrageous due to the pain and he had the first of three heart attacks before the age of 40. He has 2 stents, reoccuring migaines, carpal tunnel syndrome and now he is unable to sleep lying down, he has a smothering sensation. We now have no insurance and Home Depot fired him because he can't do the work yet he can't get disability. Now a Dr. said that he is not getting nearly enough oxygen .

I have bronchitis and a upper respitory infection right now.
Other then that I am ok. I do suffer from panic disorder, depression and anxiety.

I have been having a sharp stabbing pain right where my heart is for 2 days now off and on. It will come and go. It's right where my heart is but a little to the center.

Sometimes my left arm gets numb feeling too. This has all been going on for 2 days or so. Could I be having a heart attack? I do have anxiety disorder and was at the Emergency Room last night. My blood preasure was 132/74 and my heart rate was 113 bpm. The doctor listened my my lungs not sure if he heard my heart though. I didn't mention this to the dr. lasty night because it wasn't bothering me that bad then. I went to ER for my cold that I have.

I am 23, almost 24 years old.
What do you think this is?
Oh and I know you will tell me I should go to the ER and that will make me anxious as heck! ugh! Thank you for your answers!

I suffer from severe edema, fluid in lungs and around heart impairing my respiration & heart also. Can someone explain to me, when a victim undergoes diuresis by drugs or ultrafiltration, exactly HOW DOES the water trapped within the limbs, tissues, etc, which traversed the veins & capillaries in the first place - since the diuretics remove water content from the bloodstream, then HOW DOES the edema throughout the body go away, even if temporarily? doesn't it need to re-enter the bloodstream where it came out from? and how long for this to happen?? I know the diuretics and ultrafiltration have not a DIRECT effect to drain water from fatty tissues in my thighs, etc.

I have painful pitting edema, legs bursting with water pressure internally. I don't respond to diuretic drugs & I will not enter hospital. I am uninsured, and have no one to take me in if I lose my finances. I am unemployed & cannot quality for ANY govt $$$ since I have funds of my own. Kindly reveal to me.

My father was diagnosed with CHF 2 years ago. Several months later he was diagnosed as diabetic. He takes lasix to get rid the fluid and glipizide which retains fluid. He has been "smothering" for the past few months, gets about an hour of sleep a night and the edema in his feet and legs getting worse and worse. He has been to the ER twice in the past few months and was sent home after a few hours each time, with nothing being done for him. Last time he was told that his condition was manageable at home and just to double his lasix dosage. This is obviously not working as he is getting worse every day. Why won't they drain the fluid at the hospital? Is there any way that his family doctor could order that he be admitted to have the fluid drained? I'm feeling at the end of my wits.
