I have bronchitis and a upper respitory infection right now.
Other then that I am ok. I do suffer from panic disorder, depression and anxiety.

I have been having a sharp stabbing pain right where my heart is for 2 days now off and on. It will come and go. It's right where my heart is but a little to the center.

Sometimes my left arm gets numb feeling too. This has all been going on for 2 days or so. Could I be having a heart attack? I do have anxiety disorder and was at the Emergency Room last night. My blood preasure was 132/74 and my heart rate was 113 bpm. The doctor listened my my lungs not sure if he heard my heart though. I didn't mention this to the dr. lasty night because it wasn't bothering me that bad then. I went to ER for my cold that I have.

I am 23, almost 24 years old.
What do you think this is?
Oh and I know you will tell me I should go to the ER and that will make me anxious as heck! ugh! Thank you for your answers!

Your pain is likely due both your infection and your anxiety is making it seem a lot worse. I've suffered with panic disorder and anxiety since I was 23 (I'm 30 now) so I understand how you're feeling 100%. I know it's hard to believe that nothing is wrong with you when you have so many bad and/or strange physical symptoms, but odds are you're fine physically and one day your panic symptoms will tame as well. In the meantime, keep your head up. Try not to focus on how your body feels so much. Try to use good solid reasoning when you have pains, starting with the most likely cause instead of immediately thinking the worst. I know it's hard, but it can be done. =)

I reckon that it is with the infection that you have right now. Your lungs are working a lot harder at the moment so there will be strain on your muscles from coughing (your heart is a muscle also). Plus with your anxiety (as i know) it will seem worse. With anxiety all the aches & pains are real, even if there not there all the time, when you remember them they will come back! The mind is a powerful organ.

Try not to think of the pain but if it wakes you during the night or you are sweating and can't breath properly then go to your GP, just to be on the safe side. It will probably clear up when you have been on your antibiotics for a few days.

Your blood pressure would be up if you were anxious (which you were) and your pulse will also raise, so that would answer that.

Relax, your young, it would be very unusual for it to be a heart attack.

Just to reassure you, the doctor did hear your heart when he listened to your lungs.
As others have said, it is not common to have a heart attack at your age. The major symptoms are a feelinge of pressure in your chest along with pain down your arm.
I have a long family history of heart attacks, so I also worry, but I have learned that bronchitis causes chest pain, and both coughing and indigestion can cause pains down my arms.
As the others have said, anxiety makes these worse, so aiming for calmness will help keep things straight.
Good luck!
