"Low blood pressure" for some may turn out to be normal for you, it can vary from person to person. The key is to listen to your body. Do you feel dizzy when you stand up, or do you ever faint? Do you experience fast or pounding pulses? Do you have difficulty concentrating? If you are having these symptoms, talk to a doctor. By the way, if it is too low, a big part of relieving your symptoms is to stay well hydrated. More water in your body means more blood volume to circulate, and that will bring your BP back to normal.

I am not sure if the medical community has an answer for this. I have had chronically low blood pressure my whole life. When a reading is 90/60, my doctors say that that is good. But when I became very stressed and exhausted, my BP went down below 75/45 - I was lightheaded, couldn't think clearly, and very lethargic. That cannot be good! When I rested, my BP went up again to 90/60.
I think you shouldn't go too much below 90/60 personally, because you need a certain amount of pressure to get the blood to pump to the brain and to your extremeties. Be sure your salt intake is up, and it would be good to get your electrolytes tested in your blood (the levels) - you need potassium, calcium, magnesium, sodium all to be in balance for the body to function properly. You could take a mineral supplement daily to help with those. Make sure you are HYDRATED: drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. Dehyration, sometimes not really noticeable, in itself can cause low blood pressure.
Your kidneys and adrenal glands have a direct influence on your blood pressure. Too much stress can alter the hormones that these glands rely on to get that even balance in your body.
There are heart valve problems (insufficiency) that can cause low blood pressure, and there is something called neurally mediated hypotension as well.
Hope this helps you a bit, it is from my own research. ; )

Low blood pressure is usually not a problem unless you start fainting.

If you start to feel dizzy, faint, light headed, unable to think clearly, palpatations in the chest, drowsy,,,you should seek medical attention. Blood pressure that is too low is not allowing enough oxygen rich blood to reach vital organs in your body, even the brain gets depleted of oxygen leaving you to have "cloudy thinking".
