I've had chest pains 2 times in last year. I went to ER for both of them. The pain was where the heart is and for one of them I could not feel left side of my body. They did bloodwork, x-ray, brain MR etc, nothing is found.

About 2 weeks ago, I got cold. It was very bad. When I recover I felt constant pain on my left side, I guess it's where the heart is. It;s like stabbing pain. When I breathe it hurts. It's like one sport on my left side constantly burning for a week. Pain level increase and sometimes decrease. I feel dizy too sometimes.
I don't know if I should go to ER since they could not do anything about it for the last 2 times.

What could this be?

Better see a good cardiologist is the best advise I can give you.
Change your hospital, what has brain MRI to do with heart!!!
Better request for a thallium+Tc99(Myoview) stress test. Pain due to cervical spondylitis or Keats disease(costochodritis) must be ruled out too.
I hope you are not smoking too much? or under stress.

If you're concerned you could go to the ER. Usually, if people have pain that worsens with breathing, it's related to lungs, not heart. It could be pleurisy, pneumonia, or even other things. What concerns me, is you are going to the ER. Don't you have a private doc? That's usually a better place for follow up. when you leave an ER, they usually recommend follow up with private docs. I know alot of people ignore that part, but that is often where the problems are.

There are many conditions that can cause the symptoms you describe and you cannot get a diagnosis online. Even if one of us were correct in what is going on, you still need treatment. You need to be seen by your primary care doctor for a real diagnosis. Make the appointment today.

have you ever followed up with your family doctor????
go to the ER and make an appointment to see your doctor. the ER can only treat acute problems -for chronic or undetermined problems, you need the family doctor.

You need to talk to your dr. It might be anxiety attacks. Just talk to him and tell him everything you told us. Don't just assume they found nothing before and won't again. It's better to be safe then sorry they say.. good luck
