Diabetes

I suffer from Atrial Fibrillation (Irregular heart beats). My latest Cholesterol Level reads 4.7 My doctor said this level is fine, but I cannot see it. I thought much less level is more appropriate for my conditions.
Feed back from people in similuar circumstances would greatly be appreciated.

I don't know how to exactly ask this question nor do I know how to describe it, but I will try my best here.

Back on December 10th, I went to the E.R. and found that I had diabetics, but they didn't say it was type 1 or 2 at the time.
They didn't bother to tell me that I had type 1 or 2 about 6 weeks ago, but the problem is one of my doctor's said it was type 1 and the other doctor said that it was type 2. They had mentioned a number like 8.0 - does anyone know what that exactly mean or does anyone know what I am describing because it is really difficult for me to describe. I have to see my doctor tomorrow and I want some of your ideas before I actually go and see him. Should I ask him to recheck my blood to see what the actual numbers are or what?
Any kind of answer will do.

The point I was trying to get across is that we ALL need to be more responsible when disposing of our needles. I know I'm clean...but does the garbageman who accidentally sticks himself with one of my syringes know that?

I have always been told that all sharps need to be placed into sharps containers. They are designed for this. I'm a healthcare professional. I cringe when I see a syringe in the trash. It makes me angry to see that.

Law states that all medical waste needs to be incinerated. Hospitals, doctor's offices, clinics, and even some drug stores will take back filled sharps containers for proper disposal. The red color and biohazard label on the containers makes it very clear that they contain medical waste.

While it is okay to store a syringe in some other container, they need to be placed into a sharps box for disposal.

Keeping medical waste confined properly makes society safer for all of us.

I am definatly more thirsty than usual, have lost around 3 lbs, and occasionally feel a tingling in my thumb. I am a teenager. I have almost no appetite, and don't go to the bathroom more often than usual

I also just found out that i am pregnant so my question doesn't really pertain to me right now, but just out of curosity, or for future advise can you drink alcohol on a inslin pump? or even with diabetes period? I'm not really a big drinker anyway but there are certain occasions.

My grandfather had heart problems and died at a young age. My father just died of a heart attack in January. My grandmother had diabetes and died of complications. I'm afraid theres a pattern here. Already had my heart tested but I feel the need to be tested for diabetes. Are there signs I should be aware of?

Has anyone prior to being diagnosed thought that they had something else. Also, if my daugther has an autoimmune diesease such as Rhematoid Arthritis and Diabetes runs in our family is she more succeptable. She is six years old and recently I have found she has been wetting her bed more often and she does use the bathroom prior to bed. She has also complained of stomach aches and has aweful breath all the time. And, please no rude remarks. She does brush her teeth every day!

My boss acts like this is no big deal She saided That I know how she throws them away. They have been working togeather for 4 years and they are buddys What I was woding if I should go to the biger boss or the owner of the company.
