is it type 1 or 2? i have been diabetic i believe since i was a kid, (but no one took me to the doc because my dad is a cheap bastard) like when i would check my sugar as a kid it was 174. i keep my diabetes under fairly good control now, i have bad circulation but my sugar numbers are okay when i eat right. the doc says that my body will eventually just stop making insulin, (my mom's already has and she's almost 50) and that it will just progress w/ age and i can't reverse it. so. any ideas? is he full o' bull?

is there anyone out there who is taking the diabetes medication that you inject called Byetta? what do you think about it? i take a lot of pills for diabetes type2 at different times of the day and it is overwhelming. my blood levels if i dont take meds is between 350 and 450. i was wondering if doing the injections would be easier to manage since injections dont bother me. thank for any help.

I have started using Byetta for PCOS and weight loss, But I cant find any information on how much you HAVE to eat.. I need to lose a lot of weight, therefore I would like to eat as little as possible, however, there does seem to be some data to suggest without a moderately significant meal Byetta cannot do its job.. any ideas??

I also have problems with my feet which keeps me from exercising. Now I've been told my heart is in trouble due to my weight. Seems like I can't win for losing. Any suggestions?
