Actually, yes there is. I heard about it from a friend of mine who's a former perimedic. A friend of hers was pulled for having a blood alcohol, yet had not touched a drop. I think it may have something to do with diabetes. I'll have to ask her what the condition is called, as I cannot remember, but it can and does happen. If I find out, I'll repost it here.
Ok, I checked with my friend and she had read about it in a reputable magazine. She said that this condition was caused by a yeast infection in the body and the people in the article was having the same problem you were having, insurance and all. One case was an 8 year old child who had no access to alcohol.
The yeast builds up and ferments into alcohol in the body causing the person to literally HAVE it in the body, when they didn't drink at all. It may be Candida, but my friend wasn't certain as it's been a while since the article. This is a rare condition, but does happen.

Grapes are a no-no for diabetics, they send the level soaring. Was he on any new medication? A lot of cough medicines could give a false reading. Last year I was taken to hospital and the docs kept asking me what I'd drank, and how much.I don't drink cos of my diabetes and other health problems. They kept insisting until I passed out.Turned out I had a kidney infection, shingles, pneumonia and pleurisy. I'd only seen my doc' a few days before and was told I was ok. Don't let it get to you.Believe your husband. Some doctors will come up with any excuse if they can't find a cause.Hope he's better now...........and why is Hazem answering every question with one of his silly poems?

Not to my knowledge. Whether or not there may be deception and denial going on here is hard to say without knowing anything about your partner's drinking history. Has he had an alcohol problem in the past? Is it likely that if he were drinking he would conceal it from family? To my knowledge there is no illness which creates a blood alcohol level, so if there was alsohol in his blood he must have drunk it. There are some mouthwashes which have ethanol in them and that can score on a breathalyser but not in blood alcohol. If it does turn out that he needs help with alcohol perhaps the hospital can refer him to a specialist service. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.
I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

he is either lying to you about the drinking or something else could be going on. If the hospital says he had a high blood alcohol level, then that's enough to indicate he was drinking. They should have also tested his blood sugars anyway since he is diabetic.

I would think that if there was a condition that they would know about it at the hospital. I know that if someone has diabetes that they can ACT like they are drunk if they are having problems with their blood sugar. Even smell like they might have been drinking, but if they did a blood test, he could be hiding it from you. I'd ask to see the results and talk with the doctor before accusing him though.

I've heard of that. My friend was a diabetic, as I recall, the insulin screws up due to low blood sugar, don't think it's alcohol but another chemical that mimics alcohol. Check with your regular Doctor.
