I do not know how to help. Some in the US do not know how lucky we are to have the level of medical care we have. We do
have many diabetics here and many loose legs because of it. They also get kidney failure. Some prosthesis do not work well for diabetics because of the circulation problem that caused the amputation to begin with. You need the help of a worldwide health organization or church outreach group that may be able to provide help. Some churches sponsor health care in other countries. Before giving up your kidney, please research these on the Internet. God Bless.

Wow, I really don't know. I just don't know about any kind of programs in Romania to assist people in such a situation. The only suggestion I would have would be to somehow get your story out to the American media. Maybe try www.oprah.com or www.drphil.com Find out how to contact Larry King or any high profile media person via web-sites. Maybe someone will help you get the money to get your husband his prosthetic device. Good Luck.

I would hold a benefit in your husbands name. Get a few good friends to help you. You could have a walk where people pay 20 bucks to enter. Depending on how much the leg costs to have made, you would need so many folks to walk x 20 bucks to = amount of leg.

good luck!
