does a mamogram show or tell what the irregularity is or is it just to show there is something to be further tested.

I made my choice in cancer treatment. What would yours be? Would you choose to "possibly" prolong your life but feel bad all the time...like extreme fatigue and nausea? Or would you say enough is enough and take your chances cause you're finally feeling better and just enjoy whatever time you get?

I have this lump under my skin that is as big as a marble on my leg and my mom won't take me to the doctor unless she sees it. The only problem is, is that it is near my lower region and I don't want to show her. I am really scared and cancer is very common in my family. I am only 15 and I don't know what to do. What could it be?

A friend of mine was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He is 31 years old. Durring a scan, they found a 3 centimeter spot on the tail end. Does anyone know what his odds are, I guess i am just looking for an idea of what he is up against. he is going to the Mayo clinic for a byopsy and if it is positive they will remove his spleen and lymphnoids. Will he have to go through with Cemotherapy regardless?

I have had frequent headaches and migraines over the past few years, varying in severity. I have also had various other symptoms, such as Lightheadedness, Dizziness, Concentration problems, Focusing Problems, Difficulty with my words, such as stumbling and loosing train of thought, and random muscle weakness and twitching(spasming). My mom has been calling me dramatic, but I am not a dramatic person. I am a leader and a XC runner. I've only been having these symptoms over the past 2 years, and I am almost 15 now. We went and talked to my optometrist, and when he looked at my family history(sis & Dad had brain tumors), he told my mom to wait and see if I was still having headaches w/ glasses, and if so, talk to doctor about an MRI. Does it sound as if I may be having a Brain Tumor? I excercise daily, but not strenuously, so I am fit. I drink alot of water, and get on average 8 hours of sleep a night. I used to be good @ math, now I can't focus, and my grades are slipping. Help. Thanx.

Hi there,

In the last week... I have this small cluster of tiny almost blisters formed on my chin and I'm really worried about it. I thought it was a normal spot at first but it's very raised, rough and doesn't feel normal. I have a GP appointment first thing tomorrow but can't sleep due to worrying that it's skin cancer. I was looking online and it is identical to this picture below (NUMBER 20) but the colour is still my normal pinky/peachy tone.

Can any doctors or nurses or anyone help me please?

Thank you xx

My husband started radiotherapy and is on his second week and is now complaining that he is not feeling well since he started and he dreads going to the hospital for it. Is it really that bad? He has to wear a "mask" as the cancer was under his jaw in the submondular gland.I see the dread in his eyes now and he was always a jovial person before having this problem.

And I'm not talking about people that started way before the world was aware it was bad for you.

I know a person who has died from liver cancer last Saturday. I was just informed today. I would like to know some things.

How did he get liver cancer? He didn't drink, he looked healthy, he smoked occasionally but I doubt that had to do with the entire process. And how long did he have it for? By the time they checked him, it was too late, it had spread through his entire body. Can someone please tell me anymore ways that you know someone can get liver cancer? Thank you.

Has anyone else had cellulitis after a lumpectomy/radiation? So far I've had 12 IV antibiotics and am on oral antibiotics as well. It's getting better, but I'm curious if anyone else has had this and how long it took for the infection to clear up? I've also had to the get the breast drained twice as a lot of fluid was accumulating where the cancer was.
