Yes it can hurt and it doesn't have to hurt but it also can be what they call benign which means it is not cancer but the only way to know is to check it with a doctor. Dont let it go unchecked.

I've read a little bit about male breast cancer but like with breast cancer in women yes sometimes it can hurt when pressed on. I would recommend getting in touch with your dr to have this lump evaluated further.

As someone who was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer I can tell you, it CAN hurt. The amount of people on here who are saying that if it's painful it's not cancer is truly alarming. The ONLY way to find out for sure is to go see your doctor. Take care of yourself!

no it does not, it could be alot of different things depending on your age, but most likely it is a cyst, or if you are young enough it might just be your body changing. I had lumps in both breasts that were hurt when you pressed on them but they turned out to be pretty common in young males, they often go away on their own.
