Identifying cells as cancerous requires that that they exhibit several characteristics. Precancerous cells only exhibit one or more of these characteristics but not enough to be diagnosed as cancer. I am not a breast cancer expert but in skin cells precancerous cell diagnosis is more frequent than cancerous. It also generally means little to no extensive treatment but more frequent examinations/tests...... A precancerous diagnosis is means "Cautious" but generally "Good" news, because whatever it was it was caught very, very early.

precancerous cells are cells that function normally but show abnormal characteristics. cancer cells do not function normally at all. this is true of all types of cancers anywhere in the body.
precancerous cells may never develop into cancers at all, so it is wise to simply keep an eye on the area involved for other signs of a problem.

cancer is a breakdown of the cell itself and just like a basket full of apples, when one goes bad it effects all the others in the basket next to it...so any cell with cancer will jeopardize every cell next to it which is called precancerous cells...in other words most likely to break down...also cells that are starting to break down not next to the cancer can be called this too...a great herb for cancer is chapperal...go and study penny c royal herbally yours on cancer and find the knowledge you need to live...hope it helps

precancerous cells are cells that are in the process of mutating into cancerous cells. these cells show some characteristics of normal cells and some of cancerous cell. they function properly but show other signs of mutation or abrnormality.

All cancer is, is constant irritation or inflammation and a suppressed immune system allowing cancer to develop.
Pre cancerous cells are inflamed tissues. It means that its in danger of becoming cancer.
