I know a person who has died from liver cancer last Saturday. I was just informed today. I would like to know some things.

How did he get liver cancer? He didn't drink, he looked healthy, he smoked occasionally but I doubt that had to do with the entire process. And how long did he have it for? By the time they checked him, it was too late, it had spread through his entire body. Can someone please tell me anymore ways that you know someone can get liver cancer? Thank you.

Cancer is pretty unpredictable.. If it's in your family, then, unfortunately, you have a fair possibility of getting it yourself. The next time you go to the doctor and get a blood test, ask him/her to check your "C" proteins. If your "C" proteins are high, then you are more susceptible to getting cancer. If they're now, you're less-likely to get it.. Live your life accordingly....

This is why it's important to get a check-up every 6 months to a year. A simple blood test would have probably shown irregularities in this person's blood. Especially liver enzymes...
