I wish every cancer patient could read: How To Prevent And Treat Cancer With Natural Medicine, by Michael Murray, and Beating Cancer With Nutrition, by Patrick Quillen. I formulated this question in this way to try and reach as many cancer sufferers as possible. I am worn out trying to answer all the questions on this site! Good luck to all of you, and God bless! My 27-year-old son has bone cancer in his knee. It hasn't spread anywhere else, but is in the intermediate stage in his knee only. He is undergoing chemotherapy and will have to have a total knee replacement. Seems like most people who are cured of cancer end up getting it again later on. Do you know of anyone who didn't? We're hoping he will be cured for life.

2 weeks ago I found a lump on the right side of my neck about the size of a jelly bean with a smaller lump right below it . Earlier in the week I found a smaller one on my left side. My other symptoms are as follows:

Flank pain on my left side of my abdomen that radiates to my back and sometimes down my left leg that comes and goes.

Itching of my legs for 10 years that flare up from time to time. Rash behind knees and behind thighs (Doc said it was ezcema).

Weight loss-18lbs in 6 months. (Usually only way 120lbs)

I had blood work everything this was normal. I was told I was anemic and my red blood cells count was a little on the low end.

Went for chest x-ray and u/s and will get results next week. I have a feeling that they will be normal as well. I'm goin to ask for a biopsy. Has anyone had these symptoms? If so what was the diagnosis?

My job is helping out a school that has a child with cancer. They are collecting soda can pop tops, every 1000 is said to give the child a free cancer treatment. I did some research, and Snopes.com says this is a false statement. Has anyone heard truth in this program of collecting pop tops for free treatments. I was hoping there was was truth to it, but I just don't see it happening.

1. The use of Wikipedia as an authoritative source in medicine
2. People answering for points and saying they know nothing about it.
3.People copying a text book and pasting the whole thing for a simple answer.

My mom had emergency surgery last week and they removed a large tumor from her bladder. She was told the other day it was Stage 2, Grade 4 Cancer. Surgery will be needed and she will have to leave the state to have this done. (Sloan Kettering, NYC). Anyone with short messages of support or stories to share in a positive way will be helpful. I will copy and paste these messages into a private web site we have started for her.

The "journal / website" was started so that friends and people who care can leave comments during this quite scary time.

My name is John. Her name is Ann. Please sign off with your first name and where you are from. I am hoping we get some positive feedback from all over so she feels (knows) she is not alone out there and this is a battle which can be won.

Thank you all.
