Why Skin Cancer (Melanoma) all the cancers after complete treatment and disappearance may come back again after some time/years. It depends on various factors, Hereditary/stage/grade etc. You should have regular checkup by an oncologist even after getting cured. Had a friend who had lung xrays every 6 months after having melanoma removed from his back. 3 months after his 5 year all clear it hit his lungs and then everything else from there. His doctor said he wished he had put him on chemo when it was just a mole. Not sure this would have done the trick - my sister in law had breast cancer twice and had chemo both times - which does it's own damage and didn't prevent anything.

Not always but it does have the potential too yes......usually the liver lung and bones i believe....
