to be seen?
He had bowel cancer- operated successfully but then they discovered liver secondary. severe complications set in due to mrsa and c-diff, severely weakened him and he had to have a colostomy! he had one dose of chemo( the idea was to chemo, then operate on the liver tumours), however he reacted badly to chemo and nearly died. Dr will not do more chemo, as he says it will kill him. He was referred before xmas but still no appointment- is this acceptable? the cancer will still be growing! An mri early in January showed that the liver growth had grown slightly, but he is now complaining of pains in the lower chest region- could it be related? what should be done?

I guess i'm just looking for comfort from others who've had experience. The lymph nodes in my neck have become huge and they are painless. I've had a blood count and that's come back clear. I'm worried because the same thing happened to my friend and she ended up having lymphoma.
I have no symptoms - just big nodes!

I'm also wondering if anyone has had this reaction to the Gardasil injection? I had this recently but it doesn't seem like a usual reaction.

Any ideas?

I need to apply for my own health insurance and stupidly smoked 5 or 6 cigarrettes this weekend while on a "wild night out". I don't want that to affect my rates.

I know this is a pretty broad question, as there are so many types of Cancer... But...

Is there often pain associated with the early symptoms of Cancer..?
(Internal)

Breast Cancer for example... There are the signs of lumps we can look for... However, I've also heard that there have been cases of breast cancer with NO LUMPS whatsoever!!

Some general information on this would be apreciated!! :)

Cheers.

Okay, so I'm 19 now, but a couple of years ago I had AML Leukemia, and recently I've been thinking about having children in the future with my fiance, but I need to know first..(which I'm going to try to call St. Jude's when I can get anyone on the phone, but it's been hard) So do you think with all the treatments and radiation that I had to go through that it damaged my eggs..enough not to be able to have children?

Hi, I have thryoid cancer. I had a first surgeon who did an ultrasound of neck to look for suspiscous nodes for spread of thryoid to lymph nodes, then he was going to do surgery. But I got the flu, so I was rescheduled with a new surgeon. Now, he wants to do a CT Scan of neck to be extra sure of spread. I don't want it because I already have cancer and do not want anymore radiation than I have to have. I asked him for a MRI instead, but he said no. I know that MRI can be used to look for spread. I am so upset. Should I get the CT scan of neck and surgery or find another surgeon?????

Our beloved Scottie has squamous cell cancer. She has two tumors, one that encompasses her entire left jaw and another one on her upper chest/neck area, about half dollar size. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to control the odor associated with these tumors. We have her on antibiotics (SHE IS UNDER MEDICAL CARE) which helps somewhat. A bath eliminates the smell for about 2 hours. We love her very much and can't isolate her. She is a member of our family. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you.
It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal.
However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have
just consumed. It will slow down the digestion.

Once this "sludge" reacted with the acid, it will break down and be
absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food.
It will line the intestine.

Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer.
It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

I have 4 or 5 swollen glands on the left side of my neck. 1 is in the normal place where you would get it if you had a throat infection, the others are just small ones down the side and there is 1 down near my collarbone as well. I have no other symptoms (feeling perfectly fine and bouncing with energy)... the lumps are slightly painful when I touch them and they are fairly moveable.

I am going to the doctor about this on Tuesday but I just wondered how likely it is that they are serious. I'm only just coming up for 20 if that makes any difference.
