and from the little bit i read you still can have children:)..and it can hurt...and i guess any cancer will eventually kill if not treated

Yes, it hurts. Eventually, if untreated it will kill you, but I'm sure you will have it treated. Yes, you can have children after having been treated for cervical cancer. Its cause is a virus, a virus. They have now come up with a shot to prevent most types of cervical cancer, Gardisil.

They have developed a vaccine for Cervical Caner. It has an age limit though... not sure what it is. Anyway, it's the first ever vaccine to help prevent cancer! And it's for us women! Hurray!
